Meal planning Monday: 15/08/11

Last week's meals went exactly to plan, that almost never happens! Must have been a great plan :)

This week we are camping again, this time in Wales. I've planned camp meals this time since it's just the four of us camping. We cook on a George Foreman grill and a small gas stove, so we can achieve some awesome dinners!

Spaghetti bolognaise with homemade garlic pittas

Fish, chips, and mushy peas

Chicken and vegetable wraps

Salmon, new potatoes, and vegetables

Gammon, pineapple, new potatoes, and salad

Burgers with sweetcorn and salad

Sausage, egg, beans, and sautéed potatoes

Don't forget to check out Mrs M's blog for more meal plans and ideas.

  1. Wow, they're some impressive camping meals!

We take a George Foreman grill camping too but it only gets used for bacon and sausages!

  2. Hi Emma, thanks for your comment. My sister-in-law cooks garlic bread on her George Foreman. We tried it last time we went camping and it was perfect! We sometimes put a pan on the hotplate side to boil veg, if we need our gas stove for something else (or can't be bothered to get it out!)

  3. Now that sort of food could almost convince me that camping is a good idea...(ALMOST!!)

Yours is the second meal plan I've seen to feature sausages, and am now having a serious craving so I may have to indulge at the weekend.

    Have a fab trip.

  4. I love my George grill! We've recently started doing paninis on ours :) It's a bit small for the 2 of us so we took great pleasure in adding a big one to our wedding list!
